Not
much is known concerning the Realms where Angels live. Unlike the Hell
and Fae Realms, the Heaven Realms don't get visitors. What little is
known of Angels is mostly considered myth and legend, or has been
gleened from Fallen Angels or Nephilium ( half-angels).
It's
a very little known fact, and those that do know still consider it more
myth, that Fae and Demon kind are descended from Angels. From this
arises a triad that both 'safe guards' from each other and creates
weakness.
Each
race has a weakness to a metal.. With Angels, that metal is Platnium.
The extent of the effect of this metal against a fullblooded Angel is
not known, considering it's not believed to ever have been tested.
As
well, the use of holy symbols and items of a Satanic or pagan origin is
also believed to be a deterant... but again... it's never been tested.
There
are different kinds of angels, as surely as there are different kinds
of demons, however since they rarely have any involvement with mortals,
these are not as well known. For the time being, I'll limit myself to
explaining the full/ ascended/ half/ and fallen.

Full blood Angels ;
These
are the Angels of myth and religion. The pure servants of God. As
mentioned above, not much is known of them or their abilities beyond
common myth and it not known how many, IF ANY have ever visited the
mortal realms.
Ascended Angels:
These
are the Angels you're mostly likely to encounter amoung the other
realms. These are the halfbreed children of Fallen Angels who have come
into their abilities and passed some 'mysterious test' to attain
Angelhood. If they have visited the Heaven Realms, they do not speak of
it.
Ascended
Angels are the most strongly effected by Platnium and 'un'holy items.
An Ascended can not enter ground sanctified by Satanist or Pagan
religions, and can not heal a wound inflicted by a platnium weapon.
Extended exposure to the metal can cause severe illness and even death.
Nephilium aka Half Angels ;
As
far as it is known, all half angels are the off spring of Fallen
angels. Most are half mortal, but there are a few rare half fae, as
well. They do not have wings, although many will have a birthmark in
the shape of such on their backs. They tend to be empathic and many
will have or gain some healing abilities.
Nephilium
are not seriously affected by Platnium or the 'un' holy, but in some
cases can feel uncomfortable or even ill in the prescence of such.
When
a Nephilium reaches maturity, there will come a time when they are
visited in a 'dream' and given a choice whether to continue as they are
and remain 'mortal' .. or to risk everything and try to ascend to their
full abilities. If they choose to remain as they are, the birthmark
will vanish and their abilities will never progress further then they
have.
If
they choose to ascend, they will usually receive a weapon... normally a
sword. This in itself is part of the testing, although the purpose of
it is unknown. At some point within the year following this, they will
be joined by an Ascended who will guide them through the testing and
help them through the growth of their wings should they Ascend
themselves.
Fallen Angels ;
These
are those who have been banished or have chosen to leave the Heaven
Realms. For the most part, they loose their sensitivity to 'un'holy
items, although not completely. Some develop a sensitivity to holy
items as well. But it is believed they are still weak against Platnium.
