Gremlins
Gremlins
are nasty, irritating little pests. Technically they're a type of
demon, but so low level that just about anyone can summon them; not
that anyone would want to. Gremlins range in size from a few inches
tall to about a foot and a half. There are many 'types' of gremlins,
usually deduced by coloring and location, with varying degrees of
intelligence- none have even been found to be smarter than a chimp,
however; but all gremlins have the same weakness.
*They will avoid light, especially sunlight, at just about all costs - sunlight itself will destroy them.
* They cannot enter Holy Ground UNLESS invited from WITHIN, however, they are not bothered in the slightest by holy objects.
*
They cannot abide the touch of 'shiny' metals ; ie steel, silver,
gold... any metal that reflects light. - such contact usually results
in the gremlin exploding.
Gremlins,
no matter what variety, can always be counted on to cause trouble where
ever they appear - usually a gremlin infestation will start with the
sound of scratching from within the walls or attic... followed by small
items vanishing. This is usually followed by electrical equipment
failing - especially computers. |
