Saffron felt the emotional turmoil as he scrambled into the bathroom, closing the door. He locked it, leaning against the wood for a long moment, his breathing starting to take on the panicked edge again. He'd almost told Matt he loved him...despite knowing Matt only enjoyed being his lover. He supposed he should consider himself lucky that Matt wouldn't abuse him...but his whole life he wanted some one to love him. He turned his head, looking toward his bag. He had more bobby pins there...before he could even think, and while his breathing was still on a panicked edge, he crossed over to his bag and dug out a bobby pin, breaking that one, and settled for a place on his hand, working out a lie for it, as he began scraping. Matt headed downstairs, still smiling softly and left his bundle of clothes sitting on the arm of the couch as he headed into the kitchen. He'd heat up the coffee in the carafe if it needed it and see what they had for breakfast... although maybe they could just stop someone where lunch instead since they were heading out anyhow. Closing the fridge door, Matt headed out to knock on the bathroom door. "Hey, Saff... you want me to fix something to eat here or shall we grab something on the way to get your stuff?" Saffron startled and knocked the glass that had been sitting on the counter for teeth brushing off, shattering it. He cursed as he stepped on the shards but scrambled to pick up the shards, half a thought that it was a good thing, since he hissed as the shards cut into his unwounded hand. "G-g-grab something...later..." He managed to answer. "Saff?" Matt called out hearing the shattering glass. He reached for the door finding it locked. "You alright? " he asked, suddenly worried. "Let me in, Saff... please... open the door..." he said, silently praying to whoever was listening that Saffron hadn't been cutting again, even as he noticed the coppery scent of blood. "J-just a second!" Saffron replied, scrambling to pick up everything, since he'd knocked his bag off to. He managed to hobble over to the door, and managed to unlock the door, but he couldn't turn the handle with both hands being bloody. Not to mention he lost his balance and tumbled to the floor with a yelp. Matt was close to breaking the door down as he listened to the commotion going on and as he heard the lock snap he yanked the door open. He took in the sight of Saffron on the floor with bloody hands and feet , broken glass and bloody footprints behind him. "Holy fuck!" he said, dropping to his knee in front of him. "Shit... angel...." he said then scooped him into his arms and lifted him, sitting him on the counter. "Fuck.. baby... what happened?" he asked as he plucked a piece of glass out of Saffron's hand then grabbed a towel to wrap them in before turning his attention to his feet, his heart pounding. "Shit.. Saff, you're a mess... " he said softly as he plucked slivers of glass out. Saffron bit his lip with a hiss as Matt pulled the glass shards out. "I'm a clutz." Saffron answered, clutching the towel in both hands, hoping the cut on his right hand wouldn't be noticed, considering it didn't resemble the cuts on his left, which weren't as deep and smaller. "You startled me, I accidentally knocked the glass off with my bag..." "Fuck..." Matt said softly as he finished with the glass. "I'm sorry, angel... I shouldn't have left it out. We'll get a plastic one for in here or something.. fuck.." he said. "Here, baby..." he said, turning the water on in the sink. "Let me rinse the blood off.." he said, carefully turning him so he could run the water over his feet before wrapping them in another clean towel. "I'd probably break a plastic one..." Saffron replied. His breathing was still holding a rough edge. He supposed he'd just have to tell Matt he had panic attacks. He struggled to take a deep breath and slow his breathing. But with his heart still pounding the way it was from the scare. "Matt...I...have panic attacks..." Matt dried Saffron's feet carefully, glancing up at him with a soft smirk, relief at finding the cuts weren't that bad... at least on his feet. "Thanks for the heads up, sweetheart... could've warned me a bit sooner." he said, wrapping the towel around his feet snuggly before moving to carefully unwrap his hands and clean them. "And we'll get fucking paper cups then... anything..." he said with a soft laugh. "Fuck.. you scared the shit out of me..." Saffron's breathing started to take on a bit more panic as Matt went to unwrap his hands and he found himself clutching the towel, afraid to let it go, and his eyes reflected that. "I'd...I'd just find some thing...to knock off...fall into...trip over..." Matt laughed softly and stole a quick kiss. "Then maybe I'd better learn first aid a bit better, huh?" he asked softly before returning his attention to the towel, trying to be careful not to pull too hard if it was stuck to the wounds. "Saff angel... let go of the towel so I can clean the cuts... you know you heal faster around me... I don't want any bits of glass I missed getting healed over..." he said softly. "I'll be gentle sweetheart... trust me..." Saffron swallowed hard, still fighting with his breathing. The broken bobby pin was still sitting in plan sight and he wished he'd moved it. He started to shake his head, still clutching the towel, though he could still feel the glass in his hand. With a faint whimper, he released his death grip on the towel, closing his eyes. Matt tensed slightly as he carefully peeled the towel away, his good humor gone as he was suddenly hit by the knowledge that Saffron was hiding something. He pulled the towel free and held his hand under the water, watching the blood rinse away along with a few small pieces of glass. "Tell me what you were hiding, Saff." he said softly as he continued to rinse the blood. "I'll find it myself... better you come clean and just tell me now..." A bit louder whimper escaped Saffron, and he opened his eyes, his head titled forward, his hair falling in his face. He blinked back the hot tears and struggled with his breathing, preparing himself for Matt's temper. "There..." He whispered, nodding toward the bobby pin. Matt was going to see the deep cut on his hand anyway. His healing lately had been...completely off; for the past few months, his healing was at human rate and he had no idea why; it was even slower close to Matt. Matt watched him then turned his gaze to where he'd nodded and saw the bobby pin. Clenching his jaw, Matt went back to rinsing the wounds, plucking another piece of glass from the one before drying them carefully. He wrapped the towel back around them as he retrieved the first aid kit and set about bandaging the worst ones, not saying a word as he did, but keeping his actions gentle. The silence was worse then anything and Saffron began to tremble as he held back the tears and managed to hold back the panic attack. "I'm broken Matt..." He breathed in a whisper normal people wouldn't hear. "My head is so...confused...I don't know what to do...I'm so lost...alone...I fell in love and don't know how to handle it...I wish I'd married Landan..." Matt finished bandaging the wounds and stood, lifting Saffron into his arms and cradling him tenderly. "Don’t say that." he said simply, the only thing he'd said since he saw the broken bobby pin. He carried Saffron out of the bathroom and through the kitchen. He paused long enough to set Saffron on the table, grab a hoodie he had hanging on the back of a chair and slip it around him before scooping him back into his arms and carrying him outside.
He didn't say another word until he reached a pair of graves adorned by white statues of doves in flight, then he dropped to his knees, Saffron still cradled in his arms. "This is why I can't stand you hurting yourself Saff." he said softly. "Mist used to... we thought she was better, but..." he drew a breath and buried his face in Saffron’s hair a moment. "She killed herself, Saffron... I still don’t know if she meant to or if it was an accident... but... she cut her wrists and bled to death... I found her..." he said softly. "I never want to find you like that baby.... " he said even softer. "Can't die like that..." Saffron muttered, curling up tiny in Matt's arms. "I've tried..." He held up his wrists, with their stark scars. "Many times..." He turned his head, burying his face in Matt's shoulders, letting the tears ago. "Should've married Landan...make the pain so much easier...my heart wouldn't hurt so much...I swore to myself I wouldn't fall in love again...I can't...can't love you like this..." "Why can't you?" Matt asked softly as he held him close. "I .. I love you, Saff... why can't you love me?" he asked. "Why do you wished you married someone who only wants to use you and hurt you... rather then someone who loves you?" he asked. "How can you even say that? Baby... I want you... even if you... even if you can't love me back... at least let me love you." he whispered softly. For a long moment, Saffron merely cried into Matt's shoulder, letting everything go before he finally answered. "Because..." He sobbed softly. "B-b-because every time...every time I fall...in love...they only...use me! They always do...always have! You'll end up doing the same...if give in...to loving you." Matt stayed where he was, kneeling on the grave as he held Saffron, his face buried in the young mans hair. "I swear I'll do my best to be good to you, Saff... I can't say I'll be a good husband because I've already proved I'm the asshole everyone believes I am... but I'll do everything I can to make you happy." he said softly, brushing his lips over Saffron’s hair. "For what it's worth, I love you, kid... and I'll keep loving you... and maybe you'll let me." he added then sighed heavily, kissing the top of his head before getting to his feet, Saffron still cradled in his arms. "Maybe you should go crawl back in bed and get some more rest... you've been through enough shit for now. I'll deal with your family when they call and see about any arrangements I can make now for you... we can get your shit tomorrow..." Saffron wrapped his arms around Matt's neck tightly a moment, cling into him, his face buried in his neck. He wished it didn't hurt so much to hear Matt say he loved him and he cursed Rowen and all the other men in his past for doing this to him. He managed to get the crying under control, but kept his eyes closed. He did love Matt, very much, but that’s what scared him. There was the sound of a car pulling up in front of the church that got Saffron's attention and instinct told him exactly who it was...He gasped sharply, raising his head to look that way wide eyed. It was the first of November; he was to be collected on the first of November. And here he was out in the back of the cemetery in nothing but his knickers and the hoodie Matt had put on him, which was too big for him... Matt started back to the church with Saffron cradled in his arms. "I guess I'll start with whoever just pulled in." he said, glancing towards the place he'd seen a car pull in and park out of sight in front of the church. He entered the kitchen and paused. "The bathroom is still a mess, angel... shall I leave you here or take you up to bed first?" he asked softly, ignoring the insistent knocking at the front door. Saffron stared toward the door at the knocking. He was trembling and struggling to keep the panic attack at bay. "It's him...I know it is..." He breathed. Instinct told him that was exactly who it was and that it was Landan... Matt tensed then made himself relax. "Alright... assuming he managed to set foot on Holy Ground, he's probably suffering..." he said then sighed softly. "Doesn't matter if it's him. You belong to me now… he can't touch you. You want to call your lawyer while I go answer the door?" Saffron slipped from his arms, to stand on his feet, but he didn't let go of Matt's neck. For a moment, he clung to him. He hadn't been this scared of anyone since he'd escaped the Black Court. But he was afraid now, and the only person he felt safe with, was Matt. The knocking increased, becoming agitated. "Baby?" Matt asked softly. "You want to call your lawyer? You can take the phone upstairs... I'll carry you..." he said, his arm wrapped snuggly around his waist, supporting him to keep Saffron's full weight off his wounded feet. With a growl he leaned towards the door and bellowed at the top of his lungs. "I'M COMING!! STOP THE FUCKING NOISE!!" "I don't know how he found me here..." Saffron muttered softly, leaning against Matt for a moment, his eyes closed. He continued to cling to him a moment, before sighing deeply and leaning enough to reach for the cordless phone. He'd call from upstairs. Matt grabbed the phone before Saffron could stretch too far and handed it to him, then swept him back into his arms and headed for the stairs. He cast a glare towards the front door as he turned and headed up the stairs, ignoring the knocking that started again after a brief pause... no doubt he'd shocked the guy with his yelling; not the voice he'd been expecting. Matt smirked at that thought as he set Saffron on the bed then stole a quick kiss. "It'll be alright, angel... call Jean... what’s his name..." he said then headed back down stairs.
He stood by the door, making enough noise that whoever was on the other side would know he was there, but waiting for a few more knocks just to irritate him before finally opening the door. "What the fuck do you want? Takes a fuck load of nerve to come banging on my door the first day of my honeymoon.." Saffron curled up on the middle of the bed, dialing his lawyer's private number and waited for him to answer. But the longer it rang, the more Saffron realized he wasn't going to reach him right now. He groaned softly, turning off the phone after a few moments. The man at the door scowled, he was tall and definitely fae. His hair was dark, not quite black. His eyes were dark too. "YOUR honeymoon. Are you aware you kidnapped MY bride?!" Landan hissed, his eyes flashing. Matt crossed his arms and leaned back casually against the doorframe. " I didn't kidnap any one. The marriage was completely consensual.. .and consummated... a few times..." he added with a wicked smirk. "As a matter of fact... we were about to go back to consummating again... so fuck off." he said, making a shooing motion with one hand. "You're on consecrated ground … so I know you're fucking hurting anyhow..." Saffron lay where he was, listening to things down stairs, a soft smirk coming to him at hearing Matt. "But hardly legal." Landan replied with a tone. "She belongs to me." He added, holding up a copy of the contract, ignoring the comment about consecrated ground. "You don't know who you're crossing and if you're smart, you'll turn her over." Matt just smirked, not moving. "Wrong, buddy. It's completely legal. The contract is void. Plus we had some high ranking fae present as witnesses... Now... go fuck yourself." he said in a pleasant tone, his eyes sparkling. He was getting the oddest vibe from the guy; a rather familiar feeling as if he should know him, but he was ignoring it as best he could. "Go on.. shoo..." Landan snorted, an evil smirk coming to him. "On the contrary. It's not legal. It won’t be legal until she changes. Your high ranking fae apparently forgot to tell you that. It's only legal here in the mortal realms. Not in the fae. So you can either turn Saffron over willingly, or it can get... complicated..." Matt gave a slight shrug. "We're in the mortal realms, aren't we? Saffron is legally married to me. You are trespassing. Fuck off before I sic my guards on you..." he said straightening up from his casual slouch and sending out a call to the cemetery surrounding them. With the power boost still buzzing in his head, he felt quite a few more zombie wake then he'd intended. "Complicated way then." Landan replied, the wicked smirk still in place. "She'll be in the fae realm before she turns, at which point she'll be married to me. And you'll have lost." He said, before dropping the copy on the contract on the door step before turning and starting for the car he had. Matt had the urge to shoot the bastard in the back... and if he'd been carrying his gun he probably would have. Instead he gave an irritated snort and headed back inside, leaving the contract where it lay and locking the door behind him. "Saff. Sounds like the bastard found a loophole to your loophole... I want you to stay close to me until your lawyer finds out what the fuck he was talking about... Don’t go anywhere alone..." he called out simply as he started up the stairs. Saffron lay where he was, the phone on the beside table. He scrubbed at his eyes, before Matt came to the top of the stairs. He'd heard all that had to be said down stairs. "Can't get a hold of Jean Yves...not sure why yet..." Saffron replied softly, not really moving, but glancing in Matt's direction. Matt snorted softly as he moved to the bedside and sat beside him. "Probably the faerie ass fucking things up with him..." he said simply as he slipped an arm around him. "Don't sweat it, kid... I won't let him take you away from me." "I suppose I'll just have to hurry up and change..." Saffron replied softly, shifting enough to look up at him as he lay there. He was still just in the hoodie and knickers, and figured he should probably get dressed soon. Matt smirked softly as he looked at him, his eyes sparkling as he reached out to stroke his cheek. "Fuck you are so adorable wearing my shit.." he said with a soft chuckle as he grabbed a lock of black hair and wrapped it around his finger. "So... any idea on how to do that? There a spell or something?" Saffron shook his head, laying there. "There's only one or two ways I know of...going straight to Seal...which I can't risk, because it would take me to the fae realm... And... sleeping with my guardian..." Matt snorted softly. "Maybe we can get Gillorn and Dominic to round up a guard of some sort so we can get you to the Seal safely.... because there is no way in hell you're sleeping with anyone but me." he said softly, letting the lock of hair fall as he brushed his thumb over Saffron's lips instead. "And you've slept with me twice now... and you're still a boy, so obviously... Guardian isn't one of the things I am to you..." Saffron shook his head slightly. "I wouldn't be so sure on that..." He replied softly, almost in a whisper, looking up at Matt for a moment. Matt raised an eyebrow at him, stroking his thumb over Saffron's cheek and mouth. "Hey... you're the one who said sleeping with your Guardian would turn you... you've slept with me and not turned...." he said softly. "That means the only way is the fae guard to escort you to the Seal..." he said then sighed softly as he leaned down to kiss him tenderly. "You look really.... really good..." Saffron let himself kiss Matt back softly, in a sweet kiss. "I haven't fully turned yet...but I'm turning..." He replied softly in a whisper. "Probably won’t take much longer..." he added, a hand reaching up to touch Matt's cheek. Matt pulled back at that, a look of pleasant surprise and slight confusion on his face. "Seriously?" he asked softly. "So... we just wait it out and keep you safe?" he asked his eyes sparkling as he leaned in to nuzzle Saffron ear teasingly as he whispered. "Or do we keep 'consummating' to speed it along...?" Saffron's eyes fluttered closed a moment, biting back a whimper. "I imagine...if we did keep consummating things...it'd speed it up..." He replied softly, a small part of him wishing Matt wouldn't do that...at least he hadn't hit the sport behind his ear yet. "Or we could just wait..." "Hmm…" Matt said softly as he slipped one hand beneath the sweater and brushed his fingers over Saffron's bare stomach. "I hate waiting.... not a patient man... " he said, kissing his way along Saffron's throat as he hooked his fingers in the lace underwear. "I vote we just stay in bed until we either pass out from exhaustion or you change...." Saffron squirmed and shook his head slightly, pulling away enough. "Great idea, Matt...Once I change...you have to worry about me getting pregnant..." He replied softly, looking at him. "Hmm.... more time in bed..." Matt said softly as he pulled him close again to go back to kissing his throat. "At this rate.... we're going to need a new bed..." he with a smirk as he started to slip Saffron's under pants down over his thighs. "Enjoying this, aren't you?" Saffron asked, a faint smile coming to his lips as he slipped his arms around Matt's neck. "Keep it up though and you are going to wear me out...then what are you going to do?" He asked softly. "Hey... just doing my husbandly duties here...." he said softly as he managed to get the lacey undergarment free and tossed it aside before slipping his hands back beneath the shirt. "And my Guardian duties.... have to make sure you change to a girl so the faerie ass can't touch you... then make sure you have your heir so the faerie ass can't use that against us..." he said softly as he lifted Saffron, setting him on his lap, his hands slipping back beneath the sweatshirt. Saffron slipped his hands around Matt's neck, leaning against him. "Or...just because you love me..." He replied softly, he sighed, before leaning forward, kissing him before Matt could say anything. "Just so you know...when it comes time for me to have children...I'd rather have yours, then any one else’s..." Matt smirked through the kiss as he arranged Saffron on his lap so he was straddling him, the waist of the hoodie pushed up over his hips. "Considering I'm not planning on letting another guy touch you, let alone have a shot at getting you pregnant..." he said as he unzipped the sweater. "And I do love you. I think I'll be a shitty husband and a shittier father... but I'll do my best. Gotta be better at it then the faerie ass anyhow, right?" "I don't think you'll be either..." Saffron replied softly, letting Matt slid off the hoodie. He slipped a hand into Matt's hair, sliding his fingers through his hair. "You've been a wonderful best friend, Matt, why should that change anything where being a husband and father is concerned?" Matt snorted as he kissed Saffron's shoulder, letting the sweater drop to the floor at his feet. "I've only been a husband for less than a day and look at the job I've done so far?" he said softly, letting his hands run over Saffron’s ribs lightly. "I'm a fuck up, Saff... I know that. I was never meant to do this... but I'll do the best I can for you." he added before tangling a hand in Saffron’s hair and kissing him hard, cutting off any argument he might make. Saffron took a deep breath, drawing back from the kiss. "I've been in love with you for a long time, Matt...you're not a fuck up..." He replied, before tightening his arms around his neck and kissing him back, surprisingly fierce and passionate. Matt dropped both hands to Saffron’s hips, his fingers rubbing down over his backside as he pulled him closer. "I am where relationships are concerned..." he said simply. "Why the fuck did I get bother pulling these fucking things on?" he asked with a smirk as he shifted Saffron back enough to undo his pants and start to push them down. "Good question, you might as well stay out of them for the next few hours...or days." Saffron replied softly, leaning back on his hands, watching Matt. He was hoping it was a good thing that Matt hadn't commented on the fact that Saffron had admitted to being in love with him for awhile... "Hmm.. like the way you think.." Matt said in reply, his eyes sparkling as he shoved them far enough down that he had to lift Saffron slightly with one arm to kick them off the rest of the way before lowering him back onto his lap. He leaned in close, his face a breath away from Saffron’s and licked playfully at his lips. "Still wish you'd married Landan or Eire instead?" he asked softly.
Saffron eyes fluttered close. "No, of course not...I wanted to marry you..." He whispered, answering, being honest. "Then never say shit like that again." Matt said simply, catching hold of Saffron's lower lip and sucking on it lightly a moment. "You're mine, Saff.... you've always been mine... No one fucking touches you but me..." he said softly as he let go, his lips moving to his throat again as he pressed Saffron hard enough into him for his erection to dig into his stomach. Saffron moaned softly, his eyes still closed. "I don't want to be any one else’s..." He answered in a whisper. "I'll be yours as long as you want me..." He added. "Then no more talking shit." Matt said simply, pulling back to look at him. "You married me, Saff. I don't ever want to hear you say that you should've married someone else again..." he said softly. "I'm the man you married. I'm the man who'll give you children. No one else." he said, his voice soft but serious as he watched him, his hands rubbing his hips lightly as he held him. Suddenly he kissed him hard and hungry before pulling away again. "Turn around, gorgeous. Any way you want... on your hands and knees... bending over something… sitting on my lap... I don’t care... as long as I can see those wings..." Saffron groaned softly, taking a moment, to catch his breath, before he finally moved. He turned over, facing the headboard and leaned toward it, letting his fingers wrapping around the rungs in the headboard. He reached back with one hand, brushing the hair off his back and neck, glancing back at Matt. Matt watched him for a moment before moving to kneel behind him. He let his hands stroke Saffron's thighs lightly as he leaned down to kiss the black wings tattoos over his back. "Fuck you're beautiful... " he said softly as he took hold of himself, rubbing against Saffron teasingly as he continued to kiss the wings. "You want me, angel?" he asked playfully. Saffron's hands tightened slightly around the rungs in the headboard as he whimpered faintly, he looked back over his shoulder again at Matt, his eyes were already lighter. "Gods, yus, Matt..." He whispered softly, deciding not to argue about him calling him beautiful, he wasn't going to understand...at least not for a while. "Yus, I want you..." At Saffron’s words, Matt pressed forward, slipping inside him with a soft moan. “Fuck... I’ll never get enough of how good you feel, baby…” he said softly as he moved with him, his hands tightening on Saffron’s hips. Saffron leaned his forehead against the headboard, closing his eyes for a moment. "Certainly hope that doesn't change after I change..." He replied softly, a faint smirk on his lips, and managed to bite back a moan. Matt smirked at Saffron's comment and leaned over him to kiss the wing tattoos again. "It won't... it's not your body I can't get enough of Saffron..." he said softly. "It's you." Saffron tipped his head back, his fingers tightening on the rungs of the headboard and let his hair brush over the back of his neck and shoulders. "Glad to hear you say that..." He replied with a playful tone. A soft moan escaped him. Matt purposefully kept his pace slow and deep, despite the urge to give in again. "Don't get me wrong... the body is fucking fabulous. Love the body too." he said with a smirk as he slid a hand beneath Saffron to stroke his erection teasingly. "Definitely going to miss it... but I'm willing to bet the new one will be just as fantastic...." "We'll just have to wait to find out..." Saffron replied softly, a faint whimper escaping him at Matt's touch, "I suppose you'll just have to get your fill of this one..." He added, letting go of the headboard to lean on his hands on the pillows. Matt gave a soft moan as he moved, his fingers dancing over Saffron’s length. "Impossible." he said softly, the will to control the pace already slipping. "Impossible you say..." Saffron said with humor. His eyes closed. He pushed back against Matt's movements, wondering if he'd ever get enough of this himself and doubted he ever would. A whimpering moan escaped him. Matt stumbled over his pace at Saffron's moan, quickening his movements for a moment until he could get himself back under control, to some extent. "Fuck... gods baby... don't do that... I want to last..." he said with a soft laugh, his hands slipping back to Saffron's hips, and giving a quick deep thrust before kissing his shoulder and slowing back down. "Not sure I can take it if you want to last..." Saffron replied with a soft moan again, knowing he couldn't take much more even if Matt kept things so simple and slow. He dug his fingers into the pillows, moaning again, his eyes closed. Matt groaned softly at that. "Fuck… one of these days, angel..." he said, kissing the tattoo one last time before quickening his pace. "... I'll take my time with you... even if I have to tie your ass to the bed to do it…" he added, letting go as he felt his orgasm building quickly. "In the mean time... guess I'll just have to keep practicing..." "I won’t complain..." Saffron replied breathlessly, feeling the climax getting closer and even more intense...He moaned, leaning his head down into the pillows, on his arms and pushing back against Matt. Matt could feel himself right on the edge when a sudden pounding started at the front door. "Fucking faerie ass...." he growled softly, deciding it must be Landan again. He did his best to ignore the pounding as he focused on Saffron and the incredible feelings he awoke in him. He bit back the urge to use the power surge he knew was about to him to send a horde of zombies to the front door and take care of the interruption. The climax managed to hit Saffron rather hard and he stifled the soft cry in the pillows under him. Which might have been a good thing, because along with the pounding, he heard who ever it was yelling for him. "Fuckin' hell...it's my father..." Saffron groaned, having the intense urge to crawl into the nearest hole. Matt struggled not to laugh as he caught his breath, his head buzzing like mad from his own orgasm. "Fuck.. talk about timing..." he said, still buried inside him. He closed his eyes for a moment, his hands stroking Saffron’s waist, as he listened to the shouts. "Fuck..." "I can not believe this shit..." Saffron groaned, struggling to catch his breath for a moment, before he managed to roll over onto his back and stare at the ceiling for a long time listening to his father down stairs outside. Matt groaned softly and sank back on his heels for a moment, listening as the pounding changed in tempo and he was fairly certain Auron was kicking at it... the shouting had changed to cursing as well. "Well... guess I'll go say hi to 'dad'. Be ready to rescue me..." he said, leaning down to kiss Saffron quickly before getting off the bed. He hesitated as he stared as the jeans then snatched a sheet off the bed and wrapped it around his waist with a wicked grin instead. "Come armed... I may need it…" he added as he headed for the stairs. Saffron groaned from where he lay, though he didn't fail to watch Matt heading for the stairs and smirked faintly… Until the pounding and cursing reminded him of the problem at hand and he sighed, before finally, moving to sat up. Matt wrapped the sheet as securely as he could then, one hand clenching a fistful of sheet, he yanked open the door. "Yeah.... hi, dad.. you know... a phone call would've done. No one has any fucking respect for a honeymoon...." he said, looking past a startled yet obviously furious Auron to see an almost amused looking Lady Chaos behind him, with a timid Lex hiding half behind her. "Hi mom… hi Red.." Lex gave a timid wave and shrugged. "Sorry...they didn't exactly take my word for it...you know..." Lex said softly, Auron seemed too furious to actually say anything at the moment.
"Well, what exactly, did you tell them, Lexi?" Saffron asked as he appeared behind Matt, in Matt's t-shirt and a pair of boy-legs and hardly seemed to care that was slightly underdressed to meet your parents. "Well...I could have said something about Matt kidnapping you and forcing you to marry him...can't really remember..." Lex replied, actually managing not to smirk, but his eyes were sparkling. Matt coughed, his eyes sparkling. "Gee... thanks Red. Love you too." he said with a smirk then glanced down to see the contract Landan had left caught in shrub off the side of the porch. Keeping tight hold of the sheet, he reached over and snagged it, handing it to Auron. "Here... this is what this is about... or started because of, anyhow..." He said. "As much as you'll hate having me for a son in law... you'd hate this bastard more. Trust me..." "I know damn good and well why Saffron...came to you..." Auron replied, with something that sounded more like a growl. Saffron snorted, leaning against Matt from behind. "Well it was either marry Matt, or I married Eire..." He said. Lex doubled over, apparently having a coughing fit, sounding a bit like having a hair ball but Saffron was pretty sure he was having a horrid time trying to keep from laughing at that remark. Matt smirked and started inside, his arm slipping around Saffron as he did. "Come on in... my neighbors bitch enough as it is... Rosemary sees me and Saff like this, she'll have a fucking heart attack.. the old bat.." he said. "Saff going to be safe enough with you if I go grab some pants? Or shall I stay as is?" Kay smirked as she gave Auron a slight push towards the door. "Oh... by all means... stay as is... I'm not complaining..." Saffron blinked, before giving Kay a half amused, half appalled look. "I'm not sure I'm completely comfortable with the idea of my step mother checking out my husband..." He said. Lex was still leaning outside against the door, gasping for a breath, in between a fit of silent giggles. Saffron wondered if maybe his little brother wasn't having more fun over this then Matt was... Matt just snorted. "Imagine how dad feels..." he said, the corner of his mouth twitching as he held back his smirk. "Red… get your ass inside and shut the door... give dad a shove if you have too.." he called back over his shoulder as he headed to the kitchen. Saffron heard a thump and snorted softly going over to the door and leaning out enough to grab Lex's shoulder, hauling him to his feet about the same time he noticed a car driving by slowly by an old woman. Saffron raised an eyebrow, then smirk and waved...the car sped up. He hauled Lex inside as Auron stepped in, and Saffron shut the door. "Well don't just stand around..." Saffron said. Matt headed into the kitchen and put the coffee on, deciding to leave the stuff in the carafe for later. He yawned and stretched, still smirking as he debated whether or not to find some pants or shorts or something. He headed to the doorway and watched Saffron with his family; Lex had made it as far as the bottom of the stairs and had sat down. "Breathe, Red." he said simply, which only inspired another burst of giggles from him.
Kay snorted softly, sticking close to Auron, who was glaring daggers at Matt. With a sigh, he headed for the bathroom in hopes of finding a pair of shorts or something he might have left behind. "Yeah... I'll pull something on.... Why don’t you get them coffee, angel? I just put a pot on..." Saffron snorted softly, but didn't head for the kitchen. "They'll have to wait for coffee..." He said, holding up his left hand, the bandage a little blood soaked. His family just seemed to notice the bandages, but Saffron disappeared into the bathroom before they could ask anything. He figured he should start worrying about the slow healing... "Fuck.. right.. damn it..." Matt said softly as he turned back and scooped Saffron into his arms before he could protest. "I'll change those too. Yo Red... kitchens through there... take the folks in and help yourselves." he called over his shoulder as he carried Saffron into the bathroom. "If they don't heal enough for the bleeding to stop soon.. I'm taking you to the hospital, angel...no arguments.." he said softly. "No arguments, right..." Saffron said softly with a snort, giving him a look. "I'd very much protest and you know it..." Saffron replied, hearing his family head into the kitchen. "It’s been like this for a least a month now...I can't figure it out..." Saffron said softly. Matt snorted softly as he sat him on the counter and started undoing the bandages on his hands first. "Gee ... could it have anything to do with the Seal and it's shit?" he asked sarcastically, his eyes sparkling slightly. "I don’t get why I'm not helping.. usually me being this close or touching you would speed it up even more.. doesn't seem to be making a big enough dent to help much." "I don't think the Seal would...effect my healing...I'm part fae...as well as elemental...either way I should be healing much faster..." Saffron said softly with a sigh, watching Matt undoing the bandages. "The cut on my thigh healed alright..." He added. "Yeah... not as fast as usual, but faster then these seem to be..." Matt admitted softly as he gently pulled the bandages off and tossed them in the trash can before pulling the first aid kit closer and opening it. "Could the change be fucking around with it?" he asked softly as he rinsed the blood off the wounds and examined them. "Fuck... if not, then I bet that fairie ass bastard is behind it somehow..." "I can't think of any reason why the change would effect it...the last thing the Seal would what is harm to come to me..." Saffron said softly, examining his hands a moment. "So if anything...then Landan is behind it..." Saffron added softly with a sigh. Matt raised Saffron's hand and kissed it tenderly before rewrapping it in clean gauze. "Then you need to be extra careful, angel... and no more hurting yourself..." he added a bit softer. "As soon as I'm done with these you go try your lawyer again..." "I'll try again...but I don't expect to reach him today..." Saffron said softly, watching Matt. He fell quiet, lost in thought, wondering if things had changed between him and Matt...if it was more then just best friends now... He sighed. "If it doesn't stop bleeding...then I'll go to the hospital...no protests..." Matt smirked softly as he finished with the one hand and started on the other. "Yeah right... I'll believe that when I fucking see it." he said softly, his eyes sparkling even more as he looked up at him. "Maybe we can sweet talk your parents into sending one of their healers over instead....?" he suggested, kissing the second hand as he finished rinsing it off. "How are you feeling? Any more...girly?" Saffron snorted, giving him a look. "I feel like myself...do I LOOK any more...girly?" He asked in return, tipping his head to the side and looking at Matt. Matt looked up, smirking softly. The smirk faded a bit as he finished re-bandaging the hand and reached up to stroke Saffron's cheek tenderly before leaning in to kiss him. "You look gorgeous." he said softly. "Do you look any different? I don’t know... if you do.. it's not enough for me to pick up on when I'm this distracted ..." "Distracted? And what's distracting you?" Saffron asked softly with a coy tone and smirk, though it didn't quite reach his eyes. "I already know I look different..." He said softly, looking at the floor a moment. Matt kissed him again then sighed softly and began working on his feet, removing the bloody bandages. "How about the fact that my gorgeous, sexy as hell wife is sitting here in nothing but knickers and my shirt .... and I'm in nothing but a sheet..." he said, the smirk back in place. "The only thing stopping me from enjoying the distraction is the fact that you're hurt... and that your parents are in the kitchen waiting..." "How very nice of you...I'm sure any noise we made would bring my father rushing in here..." Saffron said softly the smile still not reaching his eyes. He winced slightly as the bandage came off his foot, pulling a bit of skin. "Sorry.." Matt said softly and scowled as he carefully pulled the rest of the bandage free and cleaned off the cuts. "Fuck... no more walking on these... " he added, applying some ointment before re-bandaging them. "Maybe we should see about that healer after all.... none of them are serious, but they're going to be a pain in the ass..." "Mmm, yus, I imagine you would get tired of carrying me around..." Saffron replied. He fidgeted with the bandages on his hands a moment. "After all that's what you'll have to do if I'm not walking on them..." He fell silent again, before saying softly. "Don't... don't tell them...how this happened, Matt...please...? It'll only make things worse where my father is concerned..." Matt snorted softly as he finished one foot and started on the other, being more careful with the bandage incase it had stuck as well. "You knocked a glass off and got cut by the broken shards... it was an accident, baby.. and one that was partially my fault for leaving the damned glass so close to the edge of the counter..." he said, giving him a soft smile. "That's the truth... or enough of it anyhow. If we tell him nothing he'll worry more." "I just...don't want them to know the rest of it. I doubt...Kay would raise to much trouble...but my father...and possibly Lex...they wouldn't be happy to know I was cutting..." Saffron said softly, biting his lip. The second bandage came off my easier. "Like I said... you don't have to hide what happened. You stepped on broken glass and got cut up trying to pick it up..." he said as he cleaned and re-bandaged the wounds. "And I'll carry you any where you want to go, angel." he added with a smirk. "Any time." Saffron snorted softly and shook his head a moment, leaning back against the wall behind him, his hands in his lap. He looked at Matt a long moment. "I guess that means we have changed... its not just best friends anymore..." He said softly. Matt looked up at that and snorted as he finished with the bandage and leaned on the counter in front of him. "I told you that... You'll always be my best friend Saff... but now you're also more than that. How could you not be?" he asked then gave his hip a light pat and slipped past him to check the cupboard where the towels and things were kept to see if he had a spare pair of track pants or shorts or something to pull on. "I guess I really didn't think things through..." Saffron said softly, watching him. "I didn't really think all the way through that...things would change...I just knew I could count on you...to help..." He added. Matt found a pair of old track pants that had seen better days and abandoned the bed sheet to pull them on; rips, tears and grass and paint stains not with standing, they were certainly more decent then a bed sheet. With a sift sigh he turned back to gather Saffron into his arms, kissing him lightly. "I don’t regret it. I still have my best friend, only now we're even closer and get to spend even more time together. Stop poking." he said simply. "Now how about a kiss before we go back out there to face the family? I'm really surprised none of them have come knocking on the door by now..." "Much longer and they will be." Saffron replied with a slight smirk, before slipping his arms around Matt's neck and leaning up enough to kiss him. He shoved back the rest of his thoughts right now. Though he was surprised how easy it came to him, to be able to kiss Matt like this... Matt kissed him back and tightened his arms around him a moment before breaking the kiss with a soft sigh. "So much for stalling..." he said lightly, shifting Saffron so he was cradled in his arms and toed open the door. "Good thing there's coffee in the carafe from last night... if they didn't save us any I can heat that up.." "Yus, I wonder how many cups they've had by now..." Saffron said with a slight smirk. There was soft chatter from the kitchen, with a still added amount of giggles obviously coming from Lex, and Saffron smirked slightly. "Oh, by the way, I think Rosemary drove by, when I was hauling Lex through the door..." Matt smirked at that, biting back the urge to laugh. "She saw you?" he asked softly. "Did she slam on the brakes or speed up?" he asked, with a chuckle. "Probably sped up.. gotta go start spreading the rumors.." "Well she sped up when I smiled at her, so..." Saffron said, shifting slightly in Matt's arms. "Still...rumors can't be that bad...doubt she could tell I was a boy..." He added.
Lex poked his head out of the kitchen door. "Oh good...Kay's having an awful hard time keeping dad seated..." Lex said. Matt snorted softly at that. "Yeah .. she fucking freaks when I smile at her too... and I LOVE hearing all the rumors…some of them are fucking hilarious..." he said with a smirk as they headed into the kitchen. He ignored the instant attention they received as he carried Saffron to a chair and sat him down. "Sorry. Saff had an accident this morning and Landan is fucking with his healing abilities.." he said, the name coming out rather snide. Lex blinked, taking his seat again. "How can he do that?" Lex asked.
"I wouldn't know, but it's been like this a month or so." Saffron answered.
"And I've never known you to have accidents, Saffron." Auron said with a soft tone.
"I got startled and knocked the glass off the counter in the bathroom...think it was about the time Landan came knocking on the door..." "It was mostly my fault." Matt said simply as he poured two cups of coffee. "I'd left a glass on the bathroom counter too close to the edge. Saff went into get dressed and .. well... shit happened the glass got shattered and before I could get to him, he was a mess... he'd tried cleaning it up but just cut himself worse." he added, handing Saffron a mug. "Be careful, angel." he said softly, before leaning back against the wall behind him since the other chairs were taken. "If you can send one of your healers over, it would be appreciated..." "I'm sure that can be arranged," Kay said, but she was watching Matt from behind her own cup.
"As if I'm going to drop this one..." Saffron replied to Matt, giving him a look. "Or spill it. What exactly, did you tell them, Lex?" Saffron asked, looking at the red head.
"Nothing...just that Faal and I were here last night to see you two marry..." Lex said, not looking at Saffron. Matt leaned down and kissed Saffron’s neck. "I meant be careful it was hot... and to be careful with your cuts..." he said softly with a chuckle and another kiss, aware of Auron's scrutiny. He straightened back up, sipping his coffee before looking at Auron. "You said you knew why... So you knew about the marriage contract Landan had before now? Or did you just find out when Lex told you...?" Kay snorted, and was the one who answered. "The entire office was aware of the marriage contract yesterday...didn't Saffron tell you he trashed a couple offices after Landan's messenger brought his copy...? My office...Faal's office...Nate and Eire's...probably would have gone into the archives if Lex had let him in..." She said.
"I wouldn't have touched the archives and I did NOT trash Faal's office..." Saffron said with a look. Matt raised an eyebrow, smirking over his coffee cup. "Nope.. didn't tell me. But I can definitely see it...." he said. "Don’t worry... we got some photos taken... I'll send you copies when I get them." he said then looked at Lex. "How's Dominic doing? He recovered yet?" Lex choked on a mouth full of coffee and had to cough for a moment. "I don't think his uncle is going to let him live it down any time soon...The blue streak incidentally, was Gillorn's
idea." Lex said. "Why bother going through pictures if the marriage is just a cover..." Auron said from his spot. Matt smirked, his eyes sparkling at Lex before he took another sip of his coffee before replying to Auron. "Because it's not 'just a cover'. " he said simply. "We're married... really and truly." he said with a soft smirk. "Till death do us part."
Kay reached out to lay a hand on Auron's arm as if reminding him to be calm. Matt pretended not to notice the move. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I really am your son-in law... and eventually, I'll be the man making you a grandfather..." Auron's gaze seemed to turn to Saffron. "Well I really didn't set out to fall in love with him..." Saffron said, not looking at his father.
"When...last night...or six months ago?" Lex asked in a rather quiet tone with out looking at Saffron or Matt either.
Saffron sent a kick under the table at Lex's legs, Lex just seemed to smirk wickedly. "Well at least I didn't make Montgomery your son in law..." Saffron said to Auron. That seemed to make both Lex and Kay choke on their coffee. Matt sipped his coffee and reached out with his free hand to toy with Saffron’s hair where it spilled down his back, noticing it seemed longer and curlier... and deciding it probably was. "Just be happy I'm not Landan.. the fairie ass... " Matt sneered.
Kay seemed to recover and shot him an amused look. "I find it hard to believe that you actually married my step son... on Halloween ... in a sneaky..." she took a breath and let it out, the amused look still there along with her irritation. "I take it you didn't get married in a church if you had Faal attend...?" "No actually we got married out there...in the cemetery pretty much." Saffron said. "We had a judge officiate it." "It was actually quite lovely." Lex put in from his spot, obviously trying to hold back the giggles again. "Saffron looked very much the bride...and Matt here...well he did look awfully handsome..." Lex added. Saffron sent another kick at Lex under the table, but caught the warning look from Auron. "It just rather seemed... appropriate...for us...considering. And Matt had prior engagements he couldn't break anyway, so we just worked it all together." Saffron said. Matt smirked softly at that as he drank his coffee. "Full Gothic deal... black roses, skeletons framing the judge... punch bowl with ice cube eyeballs floating in it..." he said with a soft smirk. "And like I said .. don’t worry, we got some pictures... got at least one of Dominic and Red here too..." Lex snorted. "As if it had anything to do with us...Gillorn was actually more excited to attend..." He said. "I bet..." Saffron said dryly. "But you couldn't think to tell your parents, perhaps?" Auron said. "I figured the less people who knew about it, the less chance of Landan finding out and crashing the party." Saffron said. "Plus you would've ruined the whole thing." Matt added, looking at Auron. "Admit it... if you'd have known or been invited, you've had put a stop to it and tried to protect him some other way... and he'd be with Landan right now because of it..." he said softly. If looks could kill, Matt probably would have been on the floor. Even Lex blinked wide eyed at Auron's glare and slipped a little lower in his chair. "Honestly...dad...isn't it better that I'm married to Matt...who happens to be my guardian...than a fae prince who's only use for me was to use me..." Saffron said softly. Matt just watched Auron. He knew he was pushing things with the man, but he also knew he didn't care. Saffron was his now and he wasn't going to let Auron get in his way. "Yeah, `dad'. " he said simply. "Aren't you happy that your son married someone he loves and who loves him back? Or would you have preferred the arranged marriage ?" Auron sat the cup he had down a little harder then normal and spoke to Kay. "I'll be outside..." He said getting up and leaving the kitchen. Saffron waited until he knew his father was far enough away before looking at Kay. "That is why I didn't inform any one other then Lex...and Faal, that I was marrying Matt last night. After all...mum...Matt was some one he could have stopped me from marrying... he wouldn't have lifted a finger over Landan..." "That isn't true Saffron..." Lex hissed. "No one else was any the bit happier that you were being forced to marry Landan..." "But he wouldn't have done anything to stop it..." Matt said, stepping closer to Saffron and running his hand over his back lightly. "For whatever reason... whether he didn't think he could, or whether because it was Lillian's doing..." Kay shot Matt a dark look before standing. She made what was obviously a huge effort to bite her tongue. "Graves... don't make any more enemies then you already have..." she finally said quietly, her eyes shifting to red. "No body is here to make enemies...Admit it yourself, Kay. Auron wouldn't have stepped in, when Landan came to collect me. ESPECIALLY if it was something Lillian had done...which she did. You really might want to ask yourself some time...and HIM, who he's really in love with..." Saffron said softly, still sitting. "Ooo. that was low, Saffron..." Lex hissed, leaning forward. "But no less the truth." Saffron replied back. "I was always expandable...he had his ways of finding me when I was child... he didn't look HARD enough. Would he have looked as hard for me, as he did for Regan in the last year...?" Matt watched Kay as she stared at Saffron in shock. He slipped his arm around Saffron's chest, ready to pull him out of the way as he watched her eyes flash. For a moment he though she might hit one of them, instead she set her cup down. "You don't know anything about him..." she said softly before heading towards the door to join Auron. Matt watched her go then looked to Lex. "You going to be alright going home with them like that?" he asked quietly. "You can call Dominic to come get you ..." Lex sighed, sitting his cup on the table. "Oh...I doubt they'll say anything about it to me...Yet.. I can rather see Saffron's point...It only took dad a year to find Regan..." Lex said softly. Saffron sighed deeply. "It was a comment that really was uncalled for...and if he'd been in here, I'd probably be on the floor from a good slap..." Saffron said with a weary smirk that didn't reach his eyes. "I've told you before Lex...I'm not really a part of this family...I never have been..." "He wouldn't have laid a hand on you, baby." Matt said softly, rubbing his hand against Saffron's chest lightly before pulling away and wandering towards the patio door to look out. "Neither would she. I wouldn't have let them." "Mmm, you wouldn't have let him and it would have been a big fight between you and him and he'd really hate you." Saffron said softly. "And you'd never get back on his good graces..." Lex added finally standing. Matt snorted and shot Lex a look. "Who the fuck cares about being in his good graces?" he asked simply. "Face it Red, it's not like we'd be having big family get-to-gethers or anything no matter what. I couldn't give a flying fuck if he hates me or not... as long as he doesn't hurt Saff." "He'd never intentionally hurt Saffron." Lex said with a slight hiss. "Whether they're close or not, Saffron is still his child...I think that's what hurts them most, Saff...that they do love you so much and you shun them." "Go Lex..." Saffron snapped. "I'll talk to you later." Matt headed back to the table. "You should know Red... sometimes the unintentional hurts are the worst kind." he said simply. "You'd better go... but just think about something... would he have let you fall prey to some marriage contract like he'd have done to Saff....?" Lex started to open his mouth to reply to that, before shutting it. Rather he wanted to say yes, he knew the answer was no...Auron wouldn't have left Lex fall into a contract like Saffron had gotten stuck in. Lex could never figure that out. "Maybe...if Saffron told them...the shit he'd really been through, rather then keeping it a secret, they'd understand more." Lex said, before heading for the door. "Or maybe they'd understand less." Matt said softly. "Maybe him marrying me is the best thing to happen here, Red... at least with me he has family who understands and accepts him as he is..." "Not so much a family, as just a companion...a husband..." Lex said stopping at the kitchen door. "At least for now, Lex." Saffron said, with out looking at him. "And I'm not telling them, Lex. What happened to me, is...my past, and my pain. Just because you chose to tell yours..." Saffron added, slightly cold. Lex muttered a choice name for Saffron before leaving. "Love you too!" Saffron called after him. Matt watched Saffron a moment as he listened to the last of their guests leave. "It's just the two of us, Saff. I think it always was..." he said softly. "Good thing that's all we really need." Saffron sighed, managing to get up from the table, and get over to the patio door, looking out. He leaned his shoulder against the door frame a moment. "I don't know why I even bother any more...you're the only person I've ever really been close to...why should I even care..." Matt sighed and went to stand behind him. "Because you're still human no matter what else you are." he said quietly as he let his hands rub Saffron's shoulder lightly before gliding down his arms. "I'm here for you, babe. You've got me... you'll always have me..." Saffron snorted softly, staring out the door. "You're the only one...But...that's enough..." He added softly. "I imagine things would have been different...If I'd ended up at the offices like Lex did...in a collar and all..." Matt snorted softly. "I admit.. you'd look damn cute in a collar..." he said softly as he gently rubbed Saffron's arms before sliding his hands around his waist instead. "But you went through your own version of the hell Lex lived. Your father’s just a fucking ass. Forget him." Saffron smirked faintly, leaning back against Matt. "I doubt his opinion of you is any higher.. should make interest family holidays...think we'll go to Mexico for Christmas..." "Sounds good to me. I say we do that for every damned holiday." Matt said as he let his eyes close and just enjoyed holding him, wondering how long it would be before he pulled away again. "Really, what did they expect from me...? I am the black sheep of the family after all..." Saffron muttered, noticing it had started to rain outside again. Rather fitting, considering his mood. He picked at the bandages on his hands with out really noticing. Matt gave a soft sigh and hugged him close from behind before kissing his neck tenderly. "Enough brooding. We're supposed to be newly weds... newly weds don't brood." he said softly. "Do I have to sweep you off your feet and cart off to bed again?" Saffron smirked faintly. "Can't spend ALL day in bed." Saffron replied softly. He was half surprised he hadn't pulled away yet. "Should...really see about my apartment. Rum has been alone for two days; he's probably trashed my bedroom by now..." Matt smirked softly as he kissed his neck again. "Then we'll head to Boston and take care of everything that needs doing. You want your mail forwarded and all that too?" he asked softly. Saffron snorted softly. "What mail...? I don't get mail, Matt...for a reason. Hell, the apartment is leased under a fake name..." He added. "Gods only know why I chose to live in Boston anyway...oh well...actually that was the ex..." Matt gave soft snort and let go of him, turning him to face him. "Stop sounding so miserable." he said softly, his hands back around Saffron's waist. "Forget your family, forget any ex's or almost spouses... forget everyone but me." Saffron raised an eyebrow. "Well it's not like I've certainly forgotten about you." He replied, with a slight smirk. "But then it's not often my...family puts me in such a mood. But then we should get dressed and head for Boston, before we waste any more of the day..." Matt smirked wickedly at the thought of watching Saffron get dressed... then sighed and kissed him quickly. "Go... you first. If I go with you... we won't make it before nightfall..." he said simply, giving Saffron's rear a light swat as he turned and went to clear the cups off the table. Saffron snorted faintly, managing to walk, despite the fact the cuts on his feet hurt a bit. "Well at least you're thinking like a newly wed." He said over his shoulder, before disappearing out of the kitchen. He took his time heading back upstairs, not trying to think of one thought too much.
