The Raven's Halloween

The main room of the Raven looked like something out a gothic horror romance. Like a victorian haunted house, complete with victorian fainting couches and dry ice fog on the floor.

Fairlen sat on a stool, kicking her black and orange stripped legs with the platform combat style boot. Her short black and orange sexy witch costume certianly fit her, although offered by much of warmth.

It was a privet halloween party at the Raven, being thrown by Rue. Fairlen had helped her set it up. Tizzy was dressed as a naughty school girl and was behind the bar, getting things ready. "Since when is that a difference in dress for you?" Fairlen asked her with a smirk. Tizzy just giggled.

"The tie." She said with a wink. "Should be interesting seeing all the costumes..." She said.

"Oh yes, should be very interesting." Fairlen said with a smirk.
There was a soft chuckle as Rue came across the floor from the elevator. She was dressed in a form fitting long black gown with a high curled collar, and a general bust line. Her short hair was straight and she had long black nails on.

"Nice costume." Tizzy said with a smirk.

Rue smiled, enough to show her fangs. "What costume?" She asked. The girls laughed. Rue slipped on to a stool as Tizzy made them all a drink.

"So do you think everyone'll be here?" Fairlen asked.

"Everyone will be here." Rue answered with a smirk. As if on cue, the door opened and Aiyla came in dragging some one with her.

Aiyla was dressed in a pair of very short brown shorts and a blue tight body suit. She had a double holster on with a pair of nines and a small leather backpack. Her usual green hair or blonde, was dyed a reddish brown and in a braid.

Rue snorted and chuckled softly. "Oo, Lara Croft...very nice costume." Tizzy remarked with a smirk. Aiyla grinned.

"Thank you..."

"This way you're armed too." Rue remarked.

"A plus." Aiyla winked.

Rue turned her eyes to see who Aiyla had dragged in with her and raised an eyebrow. She blinked, seeing the familiar red head, then smirked. "Well Lex, I think you've out done yourself." She said still smirking.

Lex blushed. "Lex?" Tizzy sounded surprised. Lex looked very feminie. His red hair was pulled up and curled. He was wearing a very short black velvet gothic style dress with thin straps and laces up the front, fishnet thigh highs with the top of the skirt barely covering the tops of them, and knee high black high heeled boots. There was a long pair of black fairy wings that finished it. His make up must have been done by Aiyla, or Candy because it was very sexy, completely with very red lips.

"You got him in a short skirt again?" Fairlen asked Aiyla.

Aiyla snickered. "It's halloween...he's allowed."

"I'm sure it'll drop plenty of jaws." Rue said with a chuckle. Lex slipped onto a stool.

"Its better then what Rowne got me to come as that one year." He said. Rue laughed.

"That it is...although you did make a sexy catgirl..." She said.

Lex scrunched his nose. Then glanced back at the door as it opened again. There was the sound of bells and he raised an eyebrow.

Before a gold, green and purple jester hat was seen followed by the entire costume...worn by Saffron. He just smirked as he came over. "Well it was either this or I came as a knight of the round table.

"Move." A voice sounded from behind Saffron as he stumbled forward, obviously shoved from behind. Nate smirked as he stepped inside, dodging Saffron's swing. He tipped his fedora and adjusted the belt that a coiled whip in addition to the gun holster. Saffron raised an eyebrow, taking in the the missing bright gleam of the coppery ornage hair. Nate chuckled and lifted the hat enough to show the hair dyed brown and braided, tucked securely under the hat. "Indiana Jones at your service."

Saffron's jaw dropped open at the lack of accent, and Nate laughed, his eyes sparkling as he turned to find aiyla, wiggling his eyebrows in appreciation of her outfit.

The door opened again to admit a tall figure in a brown hooded robe with a blue and green garbed fairy at his side. Bull had chosen the Jedi Knight costume over the Boba Fett this year... Boba's armor had proven to be a bit awkward at the last party... Tiger looked incredible in the fluttery layered knee lenth dress with the wings. She'd pulled an almost ankle length black wig on that flowed down her back, letting the wings peek through.
Aiyla glanced at the door and snickered, while seating herself at the bar with her legs crossed, brown combat boots finishing off her costume.

"That is so wrong, you know that don't you?" Lex said from his spot.

Aiyla glanced at him. "What?"

"Well not only is Lara Croft and Indiana Jones from two different time periods, Lara would NEVER go for him..." Lex said.

'How would you know, Lex?" Aiyla asked him with a look.

'You're talking to some one who owns all eight games..." Lex replied. Aiyla snorted.

"Well tonight, she'll probably be all over him." Aiyla replied. "So, Lex, were you able to talk Faal in to coming?" She asked.

Lex shrugged. "What, Faal to much of a stuffy gentleman to come to a costume party?" Fairlen asked with a smirk.

Some one else slipped in behind Nate. Xander slipped in, looking more formally dressed then costume, in black pants, and a white dinner jacket with a black bow tie, except Lex obliviously got it, because the red head had trouble surpressing a giggle for a moment.

Rue got it as well, as Xander came over. "Well, I feel honored. The Raven getting a visit from Rick Blaine..." She said with a smirk.

"Drink, Xander?" Tizzy asked.

"Gin, on the rocks." Xander said with a smirk, leaning on the bar, there was another stiffled giggle from Lex.

The door opened again but no one came in. Instead there was the sound of a commotion with much hissed arguing, then suddenly someone was shoved bodily through the door. Faal stumbled and straightened, his hands brushing over his legs, smoothing the grey tights as he looked around the room, trying to fight back the blush that kept trying to form. Kay stepped through behind him, giving him another shove to get moving. "go on.. you don't see me hiding and My costume is way more embarassing then yours.." she said softly. She had wanted something different this year and Sienna had somehow managed to talk her into going as Dorothy form the Wizard of Oz. She'd dyed her hair a reddish brown and had to admit, although a tad embrassing, she did look rather cute... she just wanted to see auron's expression when he saw her... everything would be worth it for that.

Faal cleared his throat as he ignored Chaos and went back to looking for Lex. Sylvie and Kay had heard that he wasn't going to dress up and had kidnapped him, forcing him to choose a costume. Despite his best attempts to rule out everything, they'd managed to narrow it down to a couple choices he could live with... until sylvie thought of this one. Once she'd mentioned it, the descion had been made for him and he'd been forced to come as Jareth the Goblin King... he'd never even seen the movie when they'd decided on the costume...

His eyes fell on the redheaded 'fairy' at the bar and he found himself frozen in place staring.
"Nice costume, Tiger." Lex said to the other fairy with a smirk. "Although if I'd known you'd be a fairy, I would have gone with the other costume."

Aiyla snorted. "Lex, you were to afraid to wear the other one, and none of the guys would have survived, ESPECIALLY Faal...cat ears or not." Aiyla said with a smirk.

Lex giggled. "Well, speaking of Faal..." Rue said, eyeing those who just came through the door.

Lex and Fairlen turned to look. "Ooo..." Fairlen remarked, looking Faal over. Lex blinked wide eyed and giggled softly. Rue gave his stool a hard nudge with her foot, purposely making Lex stand rather then tumble off of it, only to make sure the length or lack of his skirt was definitely seen, to which Lex shot Rue a killer look, grabbing at the stool.

Saffron snorted and eyed Chaos, before smirking slightly. "Looks like ya forgot Toto..." He said.

Kay raised an eyebrow and smirked slightly. "Couldn't fit a dog costume that would fit you.. sorry." she said with a sweet smile, thenm laughed softly and slipped an arm over his shoulder. "You look good... nothing like what i'd have expected. But then... tha's sort of the whole point of these things... to do and be the unexpected..." She spotted Rue at the bar and gave her an indigant look, her hands going to her hips. "Ruewina! It's halloween, damn it! You're supposed to dress up in a 'costume'... you can not wear you own clothes!" she jebbed a finger at Tizzy. "That goes for you too."

Faal knew he was blushing furiously as he straightened the tight brown leather jacket that didn't need adjusting and headed for Lex. He used his glamour to hide just how much he liked Lex's outift, seeing as how the jack was very high cut with tails and the pants were very form fitting and left nothing to the imagination...
Xander had heard Chaos' comment to Saffron, managed a slight snicker, but other wise kept his mouth shut, especially at the look Saffron sent him.

Tizzy gave a mock sigh to Chaos. "I am in costume, I never wear a tie." She said. Fairlen snickered. Although she was having more fun watching Lex and the oblivous blush he was trying to hide.

Lex had been dramatically different from his stint in the hospital. Nobody was quiet sure if it'd turned out to be such a good thing for him or not, as he was decidely much more quieter and reserved. Although he had fewer mood swings, the only problem was when he did, they were more drastic.

Although Fairlen had noticed that he'd been becoming more feminine and as he did, he seemed to be more comfortable that way.

The door opened again and this time Eire came in, dressed in a black zoot suit with white pinstrip, long chains and fedora, looking every bit the gangster. Fairlen eyed him with a smirk.
Kay gave a snort of amusement at Tizzy's comment and eyed Lex appreciativley. "Hi hun.. you look gorgeous.... Rue take you shopping again?" she asked reaching out to tug lightly on one red curl then chuckled, her eyes sparkling and nodded her head back at where Faal was still trying to get over his embarrassment. "Go on... it might be a while before he can get over here... I think he's afraid of his glamour slipping."

Tizzy raised an eyebrow at that. "Now that's cheating.. no glamourizing costumes!"

Kay chuckled and gave her a leer. "Oh it's not the costume he's glamourizing... it's what his costume will show..." she tilted her head towards Lex. " You know how Faal reacts to Lexi... has he ever seen him in something this.... wow?"

Faal took another deep breath and started towards Lex again. He'd tried a couple times but he kept stopping. The petite redhead just looked... heart-stoppingly incredible. And he just felt ridiculous... he had the urge to go wash off the makeup but Kay and Sylvie had both promised revenge if he altered the costume in any way.... he was just glad he'd managed to talk them out of the hairdo they'd had planned.... instead of the wild teased mess of spikes he'd seen in the picture, he'd got them to agree to the top half of his hair being pulled into a high ponytail near the top of his head, while the botton half flowed loose donw his back.
Sylve had complianed that it ruined the look, that his forehead looked to bare, so he'd wound up wearing a triangular gold 'circlet' style head piece....

.. but at least they hadn't screwed with his hair...

Lex blushed and glanced at Faal, attempting not to giggle but slid off the stool heading toward him first.

Rue chuckled softly, and looked Chaos over. "Nice..." She said with a smirk. "Very cute."

"Oh yes, I so agree." Tizzy said with a smirk. "What do you think, Aiyla?"

Aiyla snorted with a wicked smirk. "I don't get paid enough to comment...Faal looks nice though, what'd you and Sylvie do, tag team him?"
Kay grinned. "Yeah... overheard him saying he wasn't going to wear a costume so we decided to help him. Charli guarded the door while we worked out magic on him... then took custody of the Goblin King there and Sylvie dragged Charli in for some ' help' as well...."

Faal smiled brightly, his blush mostly under control by the time he met Lex, his hands going automatically to carress his face before slipping down to his waist. "You look.. amazing, little flame..." he said softly.

'Princess' Sylvie slipped inside, one hand firmly gripping the hand of the gypsy she pulled in behind her. Sylvie had been inspired by Xander's painting of her and had nabbed the help of a friend who designed medieval costumes for the local SCA group to help. The rich blue velets and cream satins mixed in with the gold 'netting' the overhung the sleeves and the silver embroidery through out just took her breath away. It waasn't exactly like Xander's painting, but it was as close as she'd had in stock.

Charli hardly looked like herself at all. Long flowing layered skirts of deep greens and blues with a black corset over a loose, off the shoulder white peasant blouse, a long curly black wig topped with a blue and green scarf and clip on hopp earrings made a huge difference. More so due to the fact that no one at Chaos Inc had ever seen her in a skirt before, let alone with makeup. Sylvie was extremely proud of the job she'd done, loving the way Charli's eyes seemed even bigger and darker with the eyeshadow and mascara. the look on the woman's face when she'd seen her reflectiom for the first time had been precious...
Xander turned to see Sylvie enter and for a moment, couldn't do anything but stare, before Rue nudged him. With a sight smirk he debated on rather to go over or wait for her then decided to go over.

At the same time, Rue looked over her shoulder at the feel of a rift and raised an eyebrow as Justice stepped out, dressed in a severe black suit, quiet unlike Justice. "Undertaker?" Rue asked him.

Justice smirked. "Nah, I'm dressed up like my brother."

There were several snickers from along the bar.

Lex blushed slightly with a soft smile. "Thank you...I suppose I forgot to warn you about the shortness of the skirt..." He said softly with a slight smirk. He looked Faal over, "But you look very nice..." He added with another blush.

Rue turned her attention back to those at the bar, especially Nate and Aiyla. "So Nate, can use that, or is just for show?" She asked with a smirk, nodding to the whip.

"I always loved a man who could use a whip." Tizzy said from her spot.

Rue choked on a laugh and cast Tizzy a look. "I used to date a lion tamer." Tizzy added with a shrug.

"Well I use to date a bull fighter." Aiyla said with a smirk.

"Hmm, dangerous that." Tizzy remarked. "Although, those spainards.."

Rue snickered, and shook her head. "Come on ladies, I think you're making the boy blush." She said with a smirk.

Nate was indeed blushing slightly under his smirk. "Aye.. I can use it. No, ye cannae see it." he said thenraised an eyebrow. "Sorry... is m' accent ruinin' th' image?" he asked with a grin and then just as suddenly dropped it. "I can talk like this all night if you perfer..." He was grinning as he spoke, realizing that only a couple of the team even knew he could drop his accent so completely, and that was only because of a case they were on a while back.

Faal brushed his fingers over Lex's cheek once more. "Yes.. the skirt is ... very nice... " he said softly, blushing as his other hand slid against the small of his back and pulled him closer. "I'll look forward to taking you home at the end of the night..." he said, kissing him softly. "And my costume is completely thanks to Clarice and Sylvia... I'm not even sure who I'm supposed to be, although he apparently had extremely ugly hair..."

Lex kissed him back with a soft laugh, leaning against him. "You've never seen Laberynth? You really should...although you do look better then David Bowie, and yes, thank god they didn't do the hair." He said with a smirk, slipping his arms around his neck.

Sylvie gave Charli a slight nudge towards the others then turned to see Xander heading her way. She smiled brightly, blushing slightly as she gave a curtsey. "Not quite up to your work, but it was the best I could do." she said. "You look very dashing, Mr. Blaine."

Xander smiled softly. "You still look very beautiful. And thank you...I couldn't find my trench coat." He said with a smirk.

Sylvie smiled, still blushing. She still couldn't get over the way he could make her feel all giddy with just a smile. "I bet you'd look just as debonaire in the fedora... I suppose I'll just have to look forward to next halloween for my date with Bogie..." she said, slipping her arms around his neck, pulling him down for a kiss. "Tonight I get Rick Blaine as my date.. Mr. Bogart will have to wait..."

Rue gave a laugh, Tizzy pouted. "No, no, the image works fine, trust me." Rue said with a smirk. "Almost sexier then the real thing." She said with a wink.

Eire came over, leaning against the bar. "Ah, impressing girls with yer nonexisitant accent trick again, I see." He said to Nate with a roll of the eyes and smirk.

"Nice, Eire, but you forgot the violen case." Tizzy said from her spot.

"Couldn't find it...think I loaned it t' one o' the other boys fer a hit." He said with a smirk.

Saffron perched himself on the bar, next to Rue, while jingling the belled staff every so often, until Fairlen ripped it out of his hand and shoved it behind the bar. Saffron pouted slightly before glancing at the main door as it opened again.

He entered in a nineteenth century black tux, a long black silk cap and a half white mask. Auron looked around, with a slight smirk, eyeing the group that was gathering and spotted Chaos. He chuckled softly, as Regan came in behind him adjusting the gold arm band on her forearm.

She was dressed in a form fitting white dress with a gold color and a black egyptian wig. She glanced around puffing a strand of the black hair out of her face and spotted her mother. "Hey, look, there's mom." SHe said to Auron.

He glanced in Chaos' direction with another chuckle. "Didn't I used to have a dress like that?" Regan asked with a smirk.

Auron glanced at his daughter. "I can't remember you having any thing so...frilly." Regan snorted with a smirk, before heading for the bar. Auron headed over to Chaos. "Blue really is your color." he said softly with a smirk.

Fairlen eyed Eire in the suit and smirked slightly. "Looks nice either way." She said with a smirk.

Tizzy dished out drinks to those at the bar. "As if this party needs alcohol..." Aiyla muttered from her spot but accepted her drink.

"All parties need alcohol. It what makes them a party." Saffron said with a smirk. Tizzy snickered.

Faal smiled as hestole another kiss. "I'd love to just sneak you away for the night, but I suppose, seeing as how it's a party and all, we should probably mingle... make fun of everyone and all. " he looked around with a smirk. "Your brother and Clarice are particularly good targets this evening..."

Kay crossed her arms over her chest and gave Auron a smirk. "Yes, I know... odd how you notice the colour of the dress first." she said. "No comment on the new hair?"

Xander smiled, slipping his arms around Sylvie's waist and kissing her "You just have to ask any time..." He said with a smirk. He looked her over in the dress again. "Hmm, I may have to ask you pose in that dress some time." he said with a smirk.

Lex laughed softly. "You right, it is a party, Rue's party and she wouldn't let us out of here with out at least one hour worth of mingling. And be careful who you make fun of...they might not take it so well, especially Saffron. Although he certianly fits the part." He said softly glancing back at his brother with that ridculous jester hat.

Sylvie blushed slightly as she slipped her hand in his. "Gladly. You have only to ask. You'll just have to paint out my blush." she said softly.

Faal chuckled softly. "Youre right. Even so... we may never have a better chance or excuse..." he said. "Shall we start our hours worth of mingling then, my love?"
